PSC Research Continues in Boston, MA and Rochester, NY.
One solar cell with SunDensity coating laying next to a solar cell without SunDensity coating.
Pictured here are recent tests run by the SunDensity team to calculate the efficiency of the SunDensity Photonic Smart Coating (PSC™) when layered on top of a solar cell. For comparison, another of the same type of solar cell is left uncoated and lain next to the PSC™ coated solar cell. Calculating the IV curve involved increasing the resistance over time until the current reaches zero. The SunDensity team uses a custom program through Labview to measure the current and voltage of both panels simultaneously.
See the data from the solar panels being gathered simultaneously while being connected to the tabs of the cells.
