Thurman J "T.J." Rodgers
Board Member, Investor
T.J. Rodgers has served as a member of our bord of directors since 2021. Roders founded Cypress Semiconductor in 1982. He served as Cypress’ CEO for 34 years until stepping down as the longest-tenured CEO among all publicly trade technology companies.
Roers is a former chairman of the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) and SunPower Corp. In addition to SunDensity, he currently serves on the boards of other energy-related companies: Enovix (Silicon Lithium-Ion Batteries), Enphase Energy In. (Energy and Storage Technologies), Complete Solaria Corp. (End-to-End Solar Solutions), UpStart Power (Fuel Cells) and BeSpoken (Premium Spirits).
Rodgers is a trustee emeritus of Dartmouth College, his alma mater. From 2004 to 2012, he served s a member of Dartmouth’s board of trustees. Rodgers was a Sloan Scholar at Dartmouth, where he graduated in 190 as Salutatorian with a double major in physics and chemistry. He won the Townsend Prize and the Haseltine Chemistry-Physics Prize as the op physics and chemistry student in his class. He attended Stanford University on a Hertz fellowship, earning a master’s degree (1973) and a Ph.D. (1975) in electrical engineering. At Stanford, he invented, developed, and patented VMOS technology, which he sold for cash and royalties to America Microsystems Inc. (AMI). He managed the MOS memory design group at AMI from 1975 to 1980 before moving to Advanced Micro Devices (AMDI), where he ran AMD’s static RAM product group until founding Cypress in 1982.

Temple Fennell
Board Member, Investor
Temple is co-founder and co-Managing Partner of Clean Energy Ventures, a venture capital firm that is beating back climate change through energy innovation. Temple has mor than 25 years of experience as an investor and founder of three companies that were funded by private investors, family officers, ad institutional investors (New Enterprise Associates, Oak Investments Partners, Pearson Education and others). He serves on the boards of Rebound Technologies, Aqua Membranes, SunDensity, ad Leading Edge Equipment Technologies.
Prior to launching CEV, Temple was a full-time strategic advisor for flagship Ventures, a technology firm that develops technology companies to solve global problems and transform large markets in the energy, water, food, and human health sectors Temple is a member of the Keller Family office, an active investor in late-stage venture and project finance deals in the renewable energy, sustainable food/agriculture, and waste-to-value sectors.
Temple is a co-founder and co-director of the University of Zurich (CSP)/Harvad/MIT education program “Impact Investing for the Next Generation” that trains Next Gen family office members how to source, diligence and invests in impact focused funds. He was the co-lead that established the MIT “Visionary Investing” workshops that were conducted in China, England, and the U.S., and is a member of MIT’ Sustainable Finance Group. He is a frequent speaker on the topic of Direct Investment Strategies at conferences including the World Economic Forum, CFA Institute, China Merchant Bank, Campden Wealth Conferences, Family Office Association and others. Temple began his career as a Mangement Consultant at KMPG in New York and as an analyst for leveraged buy-out firm, Clinton Capital Corporation. Temple holds a B.S. in Systems Engineering, University of Virginia, an MBA as an MT Sloan Fellow at the MIT Sloan Schol of Management and is a Senior Fellow at the University of Zurich.

Sujatha Ramanujan (Ph.D)
Board Member, Managing Director - Luminate
Sujatha Ramanujan is a serial entrepreneur and seasoned executive wit 25 years of experience in Clinical Devices and in Consumer Electronics. Sujata has started, built, and grown three startup businesses in cardiac surgical equipment, optical communications, nano materials. In addition, as CTO and Product Line Manager of Mammography CAD and Pediatric Businesses within Kodak and Carestream, her team developed and launched clinical equipment and Clinical IT on every continent. Sujatha has held scientific, technical leadership, and laboratory head positions in the Chrysler Corporation, GE, Kodak, Carestream, and Intrinsiq Materials. She holds 28 issued US patents.
As a corporate investor for Kodak, and then later working with regional investment councils, she provided guidance to startups, M&A strategies for growing businesses, and vetted technologies for investors. She has served on investment advisories in the US, and Canada. Sujatha holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and is an Executive Board Member of the National Women’s Hall of Fame.

Henry Schek, III (Ph.D)
Board Member, CEO
As CEO Henry heads up SunDensity’s efforts to revolutionize the capture of solar energy for conversion to electricity. A veteran of many cutting-edge technological enterprises, Henry is a hands-on lab teacher and a boardroom leader.
Before joining SunDensity, Henry was a Vice President of Engineering and a Business Line Leader with IDEX Health and Science. Before that, he was CTO of Chroma Technology, an employee-owned life-science optics company. In these roles, Henry led teams developing unique optical and photonic solutions that spanned the life science market and honed the leadership skills he now employs at SunDensity.
Henry received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Master’s in Biomedical Engineering, and Bachelor’s in Engineering Physics from the University of Michigan. He now lives in Rochester, NY, where he is often found gardening with his wife or fishing

Dr. Nish Sonwalkar (Sc.D., MIT)
Founder and Board Member
Former Professor of Engineering at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and Research Scientist and Director of the Hypermedia Lab at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Dr. Nish is a pioneer in the field of solar energy technology. He is actively involved in Molecular Dynamics simulations and Raman Spectroscopy research related to advanced material interfaces and nano-materials for solar applications. His research related to advanced materials and solar applications motivated him to create SunDensity's Photonic Smart Coating Technology, which has the potential to revolutionize the solar energy industry. His current research interests are spectral down and up-conversion of solar radiation to enhance solar power and light-matter quantum interaction for photonic and plasmonic electrical enhancements in nano-crystals.
